As we transition into 2014 the illusions that divide and separate us as beings dissolve. This process starts with the self-cleansing of the mind. Removing all that does not belong to us, allowing us to think clearly and recognize thoughts that are our own instead of sorting through the clutter of images and ideas that have been implanted within our consciousness. The next step in this internal evolution is the integration of mind into heart. This creates a way of being where thoughts merge with intuition and feelings, inviting in an instinctual way of communicating that is open, honest and pure. The magic that is magnetism becomes an undeniable truth and a natural state as we hone our ability to attract what we desire and repel what we do not. In this presence we create space in the mind and are receptive to this planet, each other, together, living the dream that is this reality we have created. This is where the healing begins.
These changes break us out of the negative patterns of the past and bring us into a new alignment with each other and the universe. The interconnectedness of everything is more apparent than ever as is the power of collective intention. We are awakening to our strength and with it the ability to create change. Art is a prayer, music is a prayer, let’s pray together and change the world.
In fashion this evolution translates into play of proportion and integration of opposites. Look for the merging of shapes and lines in pattern as well as unexpected combinations of fabric and textures. Emphasis is given to light, reflectiveness and glowing appearances, all metaphors for how we think & live. Garments will address the element of dissolving illusions, which will take form in unraveling, gradients and fractaling of pattern fabric and print. There will also be a focus on the head, crowns and adorning with hats, elaborate hair and halo like structures denoting our nobility as infinite beings. Themes will shine from the past as well as the future as we adjust our vision to experience where we are, where we were, and will be, together in each moment.

In Fashion we reflect the growing power of femininity through structured and timeless, genderless garments. Style remembers history as we create our own, reaching back to artistic concepts like Bauhause where art shapes a way of living and encompasses our lives. In color we will see monochromatic and primary palettes as well as fabrics that convey or conduct a sense of light. Styling will be simple with little embellishment and a focus on layering and garments that can be worn multiple ways.
